About Comicpix

Comicpix draws a personalized 12-page comic from a photo of you (or a ready-made character), a name and a story. You can pick a ready-made story or write your own in a few sentences. The cover is drawn first; after you unlock the comic, the pages are drawn one by one and you can read them as they arrive.

You read the finished comic online and can download it as a PDF. Every style is an illustration, not a realistic photo.

The photo to comic page walks through the web flow step by step, and the example comics page shows real Comicpix output.

Comicpix has 12 illustration styles: manga, anime, manhwa, manhua, comic, superhero, cartoon, fantasy, sci-fi, noir, romance and cyberpunk. One comic uses one style, on every page.

Every style is drawn art; Comicpix does not make a realistic photo of you. The comic art styles page shows each style, with an example comic where one exists.

The cover preview is free; the full 12-page comic needs a monthly plan, and you can cancel online. There is no free plan for full comics on the web. You see your currency, taxes and the total before you pay, and the plans are listed on the pricing page.

Comicpix works on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps. The iPhone app uses the same account as the web and is sold through the App Store with its own in-app purchases, which differ from the web plans on this page. Get the iPhone app on the App Store or the Android app on Google Play.

Yes. Comicpix has an Android app on Google Play, and on Android you can also use comicpix.app in the browser. The plans on this page are the web plans; the iPhone app has its own in-app purchases on the App Store.

Your photos are private and are deleted automatically after 7 days, or after 30 days if you unlock the comic. Accounts are for adults (18+); if you submit a child’s photo, you must have the authority and permissions necessary to do so. The Privacy Policy lists every provider involved.

Comicpix comics are digital: you read them online or download a PDF. Comicpix doesn’t print or ship books.

On the web, every comic has 12 pages; you can’t choose a different page count.

There is no free plan for full comics: the cover preview is free, and the 12 pages need a monthly plan.
